NeoStrata® Glycolic Acid Skin Renewal Peel Apply an adequate amount (approx. 2cc) of the selected strength of the NeoStrata® Glycolic Acid Skin Renewal Peel with a fan brush. A cotton ball or large cotton-tipped applicator can also be used. Note the time of application. Application should be completed within 30 seconds to one minute. Begin at 20%.

NeoStrata® High Potency Peel Empty the contents of a single use NeoStrata® High Potency Peel vial into the enclosed disposable dispensing cup. Carefully apply the solution to the skin using the disposable application brush. Application should be completed within 30 seconds to one minute.

Terminate the procedure using the NeoStrata® Peel Neutralizer when one or more of the following occurs: (Note the time of termination.)

Erythema (redness), which indicates early dyscohesion of the stratum corneum

Blanching, which indicates epidermolysis

Desquamation, which indicates epidermal detachment

Patient discomfort. The patient can communicate to you their discomfort level on a range of 1 to 10 with 1 being low and 10 being high. (High Potency Peel - total procedure time should not exceed five minutes)

Effervescent foaming, due to the release of carbon dioxide, indicates that the glycolic acid is being neutralized. Reapply the Peel Neutralizer after ten to fifteen seconds of the initial application. Neutralization is complete once the foaming stops.

Cover the treated area with iced 4" x 4" gauze pads which provide relief from any sensations of burning or stinging.
