The NeoStrata® Skin Rejuvenation System and the Exuviance® Revitalizing Peel are in-office procedures which provide controlled and predictable removal of surface skin cells, stimulating skin renewal and improved appearance of the skin. They were developed to provide physicians with a highly effective, superficial peeling system with the strength and flexibility to treat patients of all skin types and conditions. In-office glycolic acid peels, in conjunction with a maintenance regimen of either NeoStrata® or Exuviance® home use skin care products, can be used to improve skin imperfections such as fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation irregularities, periorbital solar comedones, mild to moderate acne, superficial acne scarring, keratoses and/or benign lentigines.

Both NeoStrata® & Exuviance® products utilize 100% free glycolic acid. Therefore, the glycolic acid is immediately available for penetration into the skin, where it is needed. Three principle lines of glycolic acid skin renewal peels are available from NeoStrata® and Exuviance®. This variety enables the physician to safely design a treatment program around a particular patient's skin care needs and tolerance.

The NeoStrata® Glycolic Acid Skin Renewal Peel offers the flexibility of four concentrations (20%, 35%, 50%, 70%). The various concentrations are predictable and are able to be combined with other cosmetic procedures, such as laser treatments. It is recommended that physicians start patient treatments with the lowest strength peel.

 

The Exuviance® Professional Revitalizing 30% Glycolic Acid Peel acts not only as a superficial peeling system, but also can be used periodically as an exfoliating wash or repeatedly to reduce the signs of photoaging. Additionally, the Exuviance® Revitalizing Peel System is partially neutralized to pH 3.0 using NeoStrata®'s exclusive amphoteric system, which is a gentler way to neutralize.
